Affordability Knowledge Center

The Jewish Day School Affordability Knowledge Center (AKC)  is a clearinghouse devoted to researching, analyzing, and disseminating knowledge and noteworthy practices about tuition affordability programs and methodologies.

The Affordability Knowledge Center, founded in 2012 as a partnership focusing the strengths and skills of PEJE and the Orthodox Union (OU), underscored a mutual concern for the vitality and sustainability of Jewish day schools. (Read the joint press release.)

Schools all over North America are experimenting with ways to tackle their affordability challenges. The Affordability Knowledge Center will periodically evaluate different models as they age and produce enough data to measure their impact.
