Professional Development Community of Practice

The Professional Development Community of Practice, which was hosted by PEJE until June 2009, was cosponsored by the Mandel Center for Studies in Jewish Education at Brandeis University and facilitated Pearl Mattenson. The CoP was open to school-based professionals with responsibility for the ongoing development of faculty in day schools (e.g., head of school, principal, supervisor, department chair, etc.). The PD CoP worked to build capacity to make day schools a learning community not only for students, but also for professionals.

The PD CoP is now sponsored by the Yeshiva University Institute for University-School Partnership. Please contact  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. "I am also convinced that this kind of sharing among school administrators is a great support to those of us who don't have colleagues at our level to discuss the pros and cons of our practices."
